An examination is made on how reflective processes have been employed to explore issues of parental involvement in relation to the use of touch of sick neonates receiving high-dependency care
From two specific incidents causing 'inner discomforts', the practitioner in this study identified areas of her practice which needed further reflection
The initial plan for a structured approach of evaluation was changed due to the effects that the methodology was having on the use of touch
Some initiatives were introduced in order to sustain the changes brought about by this project on the neonatal unit
